Men’s Support and Responsible Fatherhood
The Foundation recognizes the important role fathers play in the lives of their children and
families.
To support this objective, the Foundation will establish a Dads Club, bringing together
successful and experienced fathers who are willing to mentor and support other fathers facing
economic, social, personal and mental health challenges.
The Dads Club will focus on:
● Responsible fatherhood
● Family support and child welfare
● Mentorship among men
● Positive parenting
● Personal development and leadership
● Encouraging fathers to remain actively involved in the lives of their children
The goal is to strengthen families and ensure that children receive support, guidance, and
positive role models.
Challenge
Fathers play an irreplaceable and vital role in the stability and well-being of their children and families. However, many men face complex personal and systemic hurdles that make it difficult to stay actively and positively engaged. Overcoming these barriers requires addressing several critical challenges:
Social and Mental Health Isolation: Men frequently encounter deep economic, social, personal, and mental health challenges, yet they often lack safe, dedicated spaces to seek guidance, voice their struggles, or find support.
The Absence of Positive Role Models: Many younger or struggling fathers grow up or raise families without experienced, successful fathers to guide them, leaving a shortage of positive role models to demonstrate responsible fatherhood and healthy family dynamics.
Economic Strain on Family Stability: Financial hardships and limited personal development opportunities can severely overwhelm men, hindering their ability to provide effectively and causing emotional distress that impacts positive parenting.
Lack of Mentorship and Guidance Frameworks: Without structured peer networks, such as a dedicated Dads Club, there are few community-led initiatives designed to encourage men, promote child welfare, and equip fathers to remain actively involved in the lives of their children.
